Mission 15: Wings of Wax — Hidden Ace & Replay Notes

THE SHORT ANSWER

To hunt Lupus, play on Veteran or higher. Destroy one Ladon, defeat the ace, then destroy the remaining Ladon.

Find Lupus before finishing the objective

PowerPyx identifies Lupus as a Su-33 Flanker-D and reports that destroying one Ladon triggers the appearance. Defeat Lupus before destroying the second Ladon. Named enemy aces require Veteran difficulty or higher.

  • Destroy one Ladon.
  • Locate and shoot down Lupus before destroying the other.
  • Finish the mission so the record counts.

Prepare a separate record attempt

After finishing the campaign, Free Mission allows a fresh aircraft and weapon selection. Treat this as a collection attempt rather than assuming the hidden-ace detour is necessary for first completion.
